ABOUT
Priyanka Prabhakar is a Bangalore-based psychologist. She holds an M.Phil in Psychology from Jain University and an M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology from Montfort College. Priyanka has over 15 years of experience, she has worked as a sports psychologist at Sports Authority of India (SAI). Priyanka served as the team psychologist for the Indian Men’s and Women’s Hockey Teams during the Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 Olympics. She is the first Indian psychologist to travel abroad for a competition with the Indian Women’s Hockey Team.
Over the years, she has collaborated with renowned coaches like Sjoerd Marijne, Roelant Oltmans, and Gary Calvert. She also works with athletes across all sports disciplines to enhance wellness, resilience, and peak performance.
In the corporate space, Priyanka delivers high-performance and wellness training programs, using a research-driven, activity-based approach.
She is a Guest Faculty at Jain University and SAI, curates courses for IIT-Madras (NPTEL), and consults with Nudge Sports Private Limited.
Priyanka is also a trained facilitator in Systemic Theory and Family Constellation practice from Spanda Asia and Ochre Ireland. She is a life member of SPAI
and the Bharatiya Counselling Psychology Association.
