Family and Organisational Constellations
Family and Organisational Constellations are therapeutic approaches that help resolve hidden dynamics within families and organisations. They bring clarity to psychological and physical challenges within families and bring solutions to dynamics that impact teamwork, and productivity in organisations. This approach was developed by Bert Hellinger.
Looking Through a Systemic Lens
Families and organisations often mirror each other. Every family carries the experiences of its members and ancestors, just as every organisation holds the influence and energy of its employees, leadership, and past contributors. When everyone in the system is seen, acknowledged, and included, balance is maintained.
Principles of Constellation Work

1. Belonging
Everyone has an equal right to belong in both families and work places. How we fit into our workplaces often reflects our patterns of belonging within our family systems. Excluding members either at work or in family creates disharmony in the system.
2. Order
Order allows love to flow freely when the natural hierarchy is respected.
In families, parents come first, then children. Sometimes, in family systems, children end up taking on the roles of parents, natural order is affected.
In organisations, respecting leadership roles ensures smoother functioning.
When order is disrupted- when authority is not respected- balance and efficiency are affected.
3. Balance
Healthy systems thrive on fair giving and receiving.
In families, parents give, and children receive.
In organisations, imbalance occurs when some people over-give while others take without contributing equally.
